Salary range: $80,184 - $108,252
Summary of duties:
- Coordinating and executing large-scale city events.
- Managing budgets, including maintaining records and processing invoices.
- Recruiting, training, and directing staff, contractors, and volunteers.
- Identifying industry trends to create unique event experiences.
- Supporting sponsorships and fostering partnerships with businesses.
- Developing event marketing and communication strategies.
- Acting as a liaison with the community and conducting outreach activities.
- Ensuring events comply with city ordinances and best practices.
- Upholding the city's vision and mission in event planning and execution.
Qualifications include three years of experience in program coordination and development, a high school diploma (college degree preferred), and a valid Washington State Driver's License. CPR and First Aid certifications are required within six months of hire.
