Department Overview: Established in 1965, Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation (LOPR) manages 623 acres of parks properties and 30 acres of recreation facilities. The department is committed to building community, enriching lives, and caring for the urban and natural environment.

Key Achievements: In 2023, LOPR engaged approximately 200,000 people through various events and programs, delivered over 24,000 Meals on Wheels, and completed significant projects such as the groundbreaking of the Recreation & Aquatics Center and Rassekh Park.
